Private clipboard history, smart local actions, Session Copy, and reusable messages. All in your menu bar.
What it does
Find an old copy, make it useful, paste a sequence, or reuse a message without leaving your keyboard.
The thing you copied twenty minutes ago isn't gone. Click the bird, and it's there.
Actions appear for the content in front of you. Every transform runs locally on your Mac.
The follow-up email. The intro request. The status update. Written once, with blanks to fill in.
Coming in 1.3
One shortcut brings Recent, Pinned, and Templates together with previews and the right actions for every item.
Press Command-Shift-V from anywhere, search once, and move between every section without leaving the keyboard.
See text, links, encrypted images, files, and completed templates before you paste or act on them.
Pin, favorite, transform, copy, paste, edit, or delete without opening a separate management window.
Smart actions
Snipbird recognizes the clip and offers useful actions. No uploads and no account.
Trim or collapse whitespace, change case, and prettify or minify JSON.
Remove tracking parameters, create Markdown links, and extract text with Apple's on-device OCR.
Capture several values once, then paste them into a form in order with one shortcut.
Templates
Put {{double braces}} anywhere in a template. Snipbird asks you to fill them in when you use it. Try editing the fields below.

Speed
The Snipbird Palette searches clipboard memory and templates together. The main shortcut is rebindable.
Privacy
Clipboard content stays on your Mac. History and captured images are encrypted with AES-256-GCM, using a key held in the macOS Keychain.
Items that apps mark as confidential are never recorded, and you can block specific apps entirely.
Sparkle checks the public MinutesBack release feed. Every downloaded update must pass an EdDSA signature check before installation.
Snipbird encrypts older history and images automatically, verifies the result, then removes the plaintext originals.
Availability
Snipbird will return after the next release completes Apple Developer ID signing, notarization, and final installed-app testing.
Existing users: You can keep using an installed copy. Please do not download Snipbird from an unofficial source.
